CLZD-01 temporary blocking agent
The temporary blocking agent (TBA) is a disperse system of oil-soluble organics, used in the diverting agent for unclogging the high water-content wells. The injection of the later (e.g. acid) into the oil layer with prior TBA addition will be prefaced by the TBA entering the lowly permeable layer for unclogging the layer of low permeability and high oil saturation. Ⅰ、Mechanism The softening point of CLZD-01 TBA ranges at 65-70℃, water-insoluble, and forms bridging clog in the channels the when entering a stratum. As the TPA reached the ambient temperature, softening happens to the TPA in the water payer, thus attaching to the channel wall to form the clog, while the TPA in LPL is dissolved in the oil layer without obstruction.
