Total has recently announced the completion of its acquisition of MaerskOil, which was signed in August 2017. The deal would add a billion barrels of oil equivalent to total oil and gas reserves. By 2018, oil and gas production will reach 160,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, and the output will climb to 200,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day by 2020.
